The idea of the piece

The core of the piece are musical components performed by the composer. The task of the other performers (children) is to complete the work with performative elements prepared as part of the workshop.
The first component of such performative elements is a layer of movement expression. In that layer there are dance and play elements, movement resulting from stimulation or triggering of sound and even gymnastics. We also find here the coexistence of verbal expression in the form of singing, melorecitation or declamation.
The second performative component of the work is the rhythmic and color layer performed by a rich set of unusual percussion and wind instruments. Certainly, we realize that tapping into all kinds of percussion is what children love to do the most. However, our task (apart from great fun) is to teach the basics of the rhythm and to implement the intended rhythmic activities.
Actually this is the third performative element - working out the purposefulness of actions. In other words, preparing children to perform a specific musical form - a piece. This includes support in remembering the form, reading graphic signs and gestures of the conductor.
