Quantum lyricum A piece for sensors, electrodes and a choreographic group music and sound design: Jarek Kordaczuk sonokinetic choreography: Agnieszka Chenczke-Orłowska commission: Academy of Music in Poznań Quantum lyricum Quantum lyricumA piece for sensors, electrodes and a choreographic groupOn the one hand (quantum), there are clear references to the accumulating and discharging mechanical energy. On the other (lyricum), a subjective element appears as a thread wandering in the mechanical-synthetic universe. The group of dancers implements a choreographic idea, filling it to a large extent with improvised content. However, this idea is not limited to the kinetic layer only. Through a system of 16 sensors located in the performance space and 3 sets of electrodes attached to the dancers' hands, an additional sonic layer of the piece is also created. The choreography takes the form of sound waves, thus influencing the resulting musical form of the work. The performers become the cogs of the sonokinetic machine. Driving it consistently. However, here and there eruptions of spontaneous beings can be seen. Timidly but consistently they break out of the mechanical structure. It would seem that, as a result, they will change it from the inside, leading to the collapse of the system. Is this really the case? Or maybe they only reveal its lyrical and spiritual nature while maintaining the mechanical status quo?The recording of the piece was attended by the Eurytmic Group of Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań.Performers:Magda Bartosik, Zuzanna Czerniak, Anna Karolak, Natalia Malicka, Michał Mroczkowski, Aleksandra Nachorska, Klaudia Orłowska, Kornelia Podgórska, Anna Poghosyan, Lilit Poghosyan, Natalia Rogalska, Hanna Smolińska, Emilia Stalmach, Oliwia Szygulska, Kamila Wensierska, Marta Wlazło. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sonokinetic Incident Factory Izabela Kościesza Sonokinetic works Małgosia Wawruk Sensor matrix Experimental music Installations Coral music Solo pieces Improvised music Acousmatic music Electronic Music Monoctone Pieces for children Jarek Kordaczuk mp3 Dark Energy Agnieszka Kołodyńska Pantomime Electroacoustic music Vocal-instrumental music Instrumental Music Musical interpretations of fairy tales Compositions Adam Smoczyński Sacred Music EWI ProForma Theatrical music Jan Brzechwa Julian Tuwim Sebastian Wypych Poetic song Sung poetry Jarosław Kordaczuk Arrangements Videoclips Animations Titelituralia Onomatopeic compositions Theatre of Sound A Room Full of Fairy Tales Children's Art Centre Cezary Konrad Krzysztof Herdzin Basia Raduszkiewicz Music for children

It would seem that, as a result, they will change it from the inside, leading to the collapse of the system. Is this really the case?
