Monoctone Vol. 1 // Improvisation - Jarek Kordaczuk
Monoctone - an electronic instrument with sensors, pressure sensors, force sensors, position sensors. Sound process control through the control voltage (CV). Modular synthesizer controlled by monoctone. Improvised electronic music, designing prototypes of electronic instruments. Sound controlling electrical waveforms, voltage changes. Synthesizer modules. A differentiator module, a selector module controlled by monoctone. Electronic music performed live, live electronics - becomes asousmatic music when it is played exlusively mechanically. Elements of robotics in the design of sound events. Electromechanical synthesizer. Electroacoustic experiment - experimental music. New music, contemporary music - improvised composition performed on a single instrument: monoctone. Experimental music performed on unusual instrument. Experimental piece - Monoctone Vol.1. Experimental sounds come from instrument prototype.

Monoctone Vol. 1 3-track improvisation for monoctone. Monoctone: Jarek Kordaczuk Commission: Arts Areas Conference, ASP Kraków CV Instrument Monoctone - CV InstrumentMonoctone (pronounced:  mo'nokton) is a prototype electronic instrument, which is in fact the hyper-expressive   CV (control voltage) controller  for modular synthesizers. With a set of sensors changing the resistance under the influence, it is a very efficient tool for shaping the waveform of current. Monoctone Vol.1 piece was commissioned as an improvisation by Ats Areas Conference, organized by the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in May 2015.The CD  track is the kind of multi-track studio improvisation, where all parts have been carried out by one performer playing on the same instrument. This document the current state of evolution of the prototype. The constructor of the instrument is Jarek Kordaczuk, an electronic works is made by Artur Grzybek (AGE).
