Vocal: Basia Raduszkiewicz Commisioned by: Children\'s Art Centre Songs   A long time ago... ... more less in 2003, a well-known composter and a friend of mine encouraged me to write the first piece for the Children's Art Centre in Poznań. The theme was the locomotives so I instinctively reached for the famous poem of the equally famous poet. The piece Has had an electroacoustic character. Some time later I wrote two songs to poems of Tuwim, this time completely acoustic and in 2013 keeping the acoustic conception created a new version of The Locomotive as well as compositions to 9 of Tuwim?s poems. This way the cycle Flick!The ABC's, that is 12 miniatures for voice and instrumental ensemble, commonly known as the songs to the poems, came into being.
