Małgosia Wawruk in the projects of Jarek Kordaczuk - Jarek Kordaczuk Solo singing, lyric soprano and coloratura soprano.
Vocalist and music educator. In her artistic
and didactic work she uses various techniques
and performing styles ranging from classical
music, contemporary music, to songs and
traditional music.
As a soloist she has performed on various
recordings (including Talizmany, Czekając na
koniec świata, Słowoświaty.) She conducts her
own musical initiatives and collaborates with
other artists on their musical projects and recordings
Her voice sits well both with lyrical cantilenas
(which naturally expose its tone qualities)
and postmodern experiments in contemporary
music.
She is the co-founder of and the singer
for the ensemble ProForma, which was founded
in Olsztyn, Poland. In the ensemble she oversees
the vocal techniques of the singers, greatly infl uencing
the success of the band in Poland and
abroad. Highlights include a musical performance
titled Niemen, the album Niemen a cappella,
and concerts by Bobby McFerrin as part of the
VOCAbuLarieS project.
